The Evil Dead series of films are one of the most popular and influential cult classic films of all time. The films were directed by Sam Raimi, produced by Robert Tapert and starred Bruce Campbell. This wiki celebrates all aspects of the films and is a good resource to find anything about The Evil Dead Franchise, from the original movies to the comic spin-offs and the new reboot The Evil Dead 2013. Continuing the from the end of Evil Dead II (though Ash receives a different welcome than was suggested) Ash is at first not welcomed and is assumed to be a soldier for Henry the Red. As punishment for his treachery Ash is thrown in a pit with a Deadite, where the wiseman throws him his chainsaw. Ash makes short work of the pit demon and emerges from the pit to the surprise of everyone. Ash is told the only way he can return to his own time is to retrieve the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis and say the words. more...
