Hzxyrioth was a Demon and (allegedly) the creator of the first Vampire. His first and only appearance was in the Evil Dead 2: Revenge of Dracula one-shot.
Biography[]
Not much is known about Hzxyrioth, except he created the first Vampire centuries before his encounter with Ash Williams and Dracula.
Finding The Necronomicon[]
After being trapped in his "realm" for an unspecified amount of time, Hzxyrioth was eventually freed and unleashed upon the Earth when a woman used the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis to resurrect Dracula in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In the moments before the simulacrum copy of Ash Williams was about to kill this newly-resurrected Dracula, Hzxyrioth appeared within the castle, demanding that the Ex-Mortis be given to him to unleash an army of the dead. Williams and Dracula set aside their own conflict and teamed-up to stop Hzxyrioth before he could create his undead army. While Dracula distracted the demon, Williams read from a page in the Ex-Mortis that opened a vortex that sucked Hzxyrioth inside. When the vortex closed and the battle was won, Dracula inquired about Hzxyrioth's new location, and Ash replied that he didn't send Hzxyrioth back to his own realm, instead choosing somewhere random on Earth since there wasn't much of a difference between it and Hell.
