The founder of the evil dead wiki has been inactive for well over a year, and while a wiki can be sustained by editing, issues like  page deletions, merging, reverting, wiki upgrading and other sysop options will be unavailable, meaning the wiki will stagnate and won't be able to evolve or flourish, not only that but pages needing to be deleted (either due to duplication or vandalism/trolling) but can't, will end up clogging the wiki.

To remedy this, I plan on adopting the wiki and with bureacrat status I can recruit a team of admins to help fix the wiki, clean it up and breathe life into it. If there are no objections I shall apply for it in a week's time. I do have experience in being an admin so I can assure you I will know what I am doing. Once I am admin, I will review the policy of the wiki and see what needs to be tweaked. I will expect information in articles to have sources and be cited, the best wikis are the ones that can be trusted and are reliable and so we must ensure that this community becomes such a wiki.
